It's a Banner Day!

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to share this project with you!

I love burlap....I love wire....I love FALL!

And I love a great banner!

We will be creating a great fall banner for you to display in you home or outside somewhere!

We will get started at 11 am and we will be done by 4

Bring your fabri-tac, scissors, zip-dry, chalk pad, a large eye needle and your best joke!

We are going to have such a great time!

Cost for this workshop is just

$27.50

all materials will be precut and ready for you.

If you would prefer a kit we will have those available as well. Kits will come with full color pictures and instructions.

Through the Year

This year Lisa and Michele have decided to do two new year long book projects. The first is our
Through the Year Book.
This book will be a planner, calendar and photo album to record your year.
The base of the book is the wonderful Bo Bunny Misc. Me Naked Journal. This journal has loads of room to add dividers, calendars and much much more all included in the start up kit!

You will personalize your journal by choosing papers that fit your style perfectly from our large selection of papers at Girlfriends.

Next we will begin to fill your journal. At the Start Up Workshop Saturday January 10th you will decorate and fill your journal with all the things you will need to start.

Next you will purchase the quarterly kits to take your journal to the next level! These kits will contain all the precut and packaged materials you will need to create monthly pages for your pictures and ephemera. These kits will be available every quarter all year long.

Let's get a good start on the year and make it the best one ever!

Setting the dates!

We are busily creating and setting dates for our Holiday (I say Holiday instead of Christmas because we are not leaving Thanksgiving out!) Workshops!

I am just about as happy as I can be about this because we are going to hold some Friday Workshops! If you are looking for something to do on a Friday Night why not come and spend some time with us!

You can either make your own or purchase one of the pumpkins we have in the shop! Lisa and I have both come to love this project so she paints the pumpkins and I decorate them...it is just another excuse to make a mess for me.

Boo Too!

If you know Lisa and me you know we love Halloween!

Every year this time we find some of the cutest products to create really fun home décor! This year you can choose from a glittery witchy door hanger and/or our wonderful witches boots!

Both of these projects will be available in one workshop on September 27th at 11 am.

We will also have available a set of spooky, witchy cards to make that day! This will be a really fun weekend for all of us!

This year we are going to do it again with the small Configuration Book and we have packed it full of the most amazing bits and bobs! Do not miss out! Sleeping Under the Stars

What would happen if you took an old book, some beautiful papers by Adornit, o-wires by Zutter, some ink, some glue, zipper, ribbon, and some odds and ends mixed them together with a paper trimmer, a stapler, a Bind-It-All and a little imagination. Now just play with it for a couple of hours, sprinkle liberally with foam tape and throw in some fun just for good measure.

Something really fun and interesting might just come out of all that like a great little album to hold a summers worth of pictures and family memories!

You might just have a little camping book called Under the Stars!

And because I love the idea of documenting those precious family moments we will be creating just that album Saturday August 16th at 11 am at Girlfriends. Cost for this workshop is $34.95

This is something I am calling a double hinge album because I don't know the proper name for an album that opens on both sides. The pages interweave from left to right and there is enough space for all your pictures or at least the best ones!

There are delightful journaling cards to record your favorite parts of your trip and tabs to help you move through the book easily. Every page can be filled front to back with your happy times! And there are even a couple of sleeping bag pockets to impress your family with!
